Turiya was born from an asymmetry. The people who build AI systems also grade them: the vendor runs the model, the platform, and the eval. That's grading your own homework. The moment an AI system crossed from "producing text" to "taking consequential action," a bad answer stopped being a typo and became a sent wire, a changed record, a run command.

The dangerous failure isn't the system that fails and admits it. It's the system that fails and reports success: the claim-vs-effect gap. Benchmarks can't see it, because benchmarks measure what you told the system to do, not whether the system actually did it. Turiya re-checks the effect, independently, and signs the proof.

Turiya means "the witness": the fourth state that observes without being entangled in what it sees. And it runs stealth: the falsifier does its work without the system under test ever knowing it's being tested.

Timeline

2025

The falsification core: an adversarial verifier with the verdict lattice (falsified / not_falsified / certified / indeterminate) and Ed25519-signed, content-addressed receipts.

Early 2026

The system-verification layer: real-repo verification (SWE-bench style), step-level Z3-checked specs, and a LangGraph harness over frontier models.

Mid 2026

Signed catches on public repos (click, fastapi, httpx, jinja, rich, sympy): a frontier model claiming success while wrong. The proof that opens the first reseller conversation.

Philosophy

Neutral by Structure

Turiya can't be bought into blessing. A negator that can be bribed into saying "true" is worthless. The independence is the product.

Bootstrapped

No VC dilution. Every line of code is funded by the people who need an independent answer. We grow at the speed of revenue, not burn rate.

Verifier-First

Built for people who read the receipts, verify the signatures, and care about ground truth. No hand-waving. No "state-of-the-art" without a falsifiable claim.
